Put This One in Permanent Ink

I hate AAA games, particularly when I'm sitting front row on the first base side.

I mean, who needs some Korean guy in RF, with some skinny LHP throwing innings for a ML team?

Me, that's who.

Unbelievable start by Sowers and a solid overall game by the Tribe.

2 straight shut-outs by a rookie, allowed by his manager to finish tonight's contest?

If the rest of the season is an audition for next year, let me play Simon Cowell:
"Jeremy, you don't even belong in this audition process...see you in Hollywood."

I'm going to put Sowers' name for the 2007 rotation. Any objections?

That game sounds awesome...would've been cool to be there. I think I'll have to make a point to hit a Cleveland bar around here and catch the rest of Sowers' games this season.

Indians trade Belliard to Cardinals
The Indians continued to turn over their roster today by trading second baseman Ronnie Belliard to the Cardinals. In return, the Tribe received utility infielder Hector Luna.

Luna, 26, is hitting .291 with four homers and 21 RBIs in 75 games. He will join the team tomorrow in Boston.

Belliard is a free agent after this season. He was hitting .291 with 8 home runs and 44 RBI in 93 games.
